Good idea to half amount of sugar in recipes. When I had a family I used to bake a special cake with half amount sugar, half amount flour and double the nuts and oh I beg your pardon more albany bitter chocolate and milk chocolate instead. A rich healthy sort of cake... I don't have an oven any more, otherwise I would make it for friends.
